My name is Erika Szilagyi. I am a Psychologist and Life Coach.

I offer counselling and coaching for individuals and groups internationally.

What is counselling? We all can have situations and emotions in our lives that we cannot make sense of it. This may include feeling lost, alone, confused, anxious, stressed, angry and frustrated.  Not knowing what to do, how to react often makes us feel helpless and stuck. Counselling helps you to understand, to move forward and to get over. Counselling, as often called The Talking Therapies, guide you through the difficult times. How? Sessions usually take place once a week. Making this regular commitment gives you a better chance of finding out why you are having difficulties. My approach is to focus on self-awareness, understanding the choices we make, making sense of the struggles in life, becoming responsible for our own lives, clarifying our goals and working in the 'here and now'. What is Coaching? A simple yet effective form of personal development. Many of us have big plans about what we want to do, what we want to become and who we want to be. Often we never really do anything about it. Some of us are successful in our own terms, but still there is a feeling of emptiness inside ourselves.

Life without purpose is hardly a life. That feeling that something is missing, the big question of why we are here, or how we can achieve our dream.

Coaching helps you finding out what is important and what helps to create a purposeful life that promotes the qualities or ideals for you. Coaching helps you to live a fuller and richer life; to identify what is important and how to use your skills to foster. Coaching builds and develops skills and abilities for effective relationships  (personal and professional, and for more effective decision-making. Coaching improves your communication skills through dialogue, inquiry and positive interactions that create awareness, purpose, competence and well-being.
